TULA
Sa pagbasa at pagkatha
Saan huhugutin ang bawat salita
Na ilalatag sa talata
Madalas kathang isip
Minsan katotohanan
Pero saan nga ba ito nakukuha
Sa isip ba o kaluluwa?
Bakit ba tila
Ang lalim ng aking Tula
Hindi ko maintindihan
Ang aking pagiging makata
Siguro nga ay wala lang ako magawa
Lalo na at mgulo ang aking utak
Siguro dapat na nga akong matulog
Bukas, papasok pa ako sa trabaho
Hihihi…
(kagabi/sa/bahay)
just wasting time…
RIGHT HERE WAITING
Another year has passed by
As I see my twenty three sunsets
In every dusk revealed in my eyes
I wonder of where my life would get
Another month to ponder by
Where’s the road you’re trudging
Are you ok, are you fine?
My mind has been questioning
Another week to wonder about
How you’ve been spending your daylonely
Maybe, perhaps I am the only one
Who is feeling this solitary
Another day to carry out
To dream on holding you finally
To rest my mind at the thoughts
That you’ll get home safely
Another hour that seems longer
As I think of you daily
Wondering who might be there
As God’s gift to share my life happily
Another minute and it’s getting closer
Hoping that you’re geting nearer
What’s your smile would look like
And how your voice would hum in me
Another second, and it’s moving fast
Am I ready, or am I not?
Beyond my thoughts, beyond my heart
You know that I’m just right here waiting

YOU'LL NEVER KNOW
What I’ve been feeling inside
Every time we talk
Every time we chat
The smile you caused my lips
The cheer you gave my eyes
You’ll never know
The way you put joy in my heart
You’ve been a part of me
In most of the things I do
You’re part of the world I see
In moments that I see you in my mind
My heart thumps as if it’s missing apart
You’ll never know
How much you mean to me
Should I tell you or should I not
Should I let you know?
The things that you do
This feeling that I hide
Seems to rip me inside
You’ll never know
You’re the gift that I want
Can you read between the lines?
If yes, please do initiate
For I can’t help but to hold back
Remember, I am at all times myself
So you will see me for who I am
You’ll never know
I dream of being accepted as your half
I can’t seem to look at your eyes
For I have crossed the friendship line
But I don’t want to betray you
So here I am, praying
For what decision I must do
You’ll never know
All the things that I cried for
The warmth of your words
The coldness of your actions
The security of your personality
The doubts and uncertainties
And my soul just can’t settle on
You’ll never know
How much it burdened me so
What should I do and feel?
The tears caused by your smile
The stings at the sight of your face
The thoughts you filled my mind
The longing you gave my heart
And you’ll never know
You think you do, but perhaps, you never will

THE BASKET
- THE BASKET
When we received Jesus Christ in our hearts
He did not only cleanse it
But also, inside He left a basket
With different seeds in every packet
The Basket has a red bow on top
And tied on it is a lovely big card
It says, “Thanks for letting me in to your heart,
These are my gifts; each one has a special part
Each pack grows one kind of fruit,
It’s up to you to cultivate it and let it grow
Don’t worry my friend, the Spirit is with you
I also left instructions, right there in my Word
The fruits are abundant in my Kingdom
And I want to share it with you
It’s a blessing from our Father
So go ahead, discover its wonder.
The first of the packs is labeled with LOVE
It will grow beautifully if you love God above
Shower it with care, nurture it and share
It’s the greatest fruit that one could bare
Here’s how to cultivate Love even more:
Share and give w/o expecting a return
Be loyal, be true, be understanding
As God did when we were once crying
The second fruit I would like you to grow
The fruit of JOY to liven up your abode
Great delight and gladness of your heart
A great state while knowing & serving God
Here’s how to cultivate Joy even more:
Be sincere, be happy, and be joyful
Believe that God heals and delivers
Our strength will always be the Joy of the Lord
The third fruit I give, would be the fruit of PEACE
Harmony and tranquility are what it brings
This Peace is special and a very rare one
For it exceed all our doubts and uncertainties
Here’s how to cultivate Peace even more:
Dependence in God that He’s always there
Accord between friends, one and each other
Sooner or later, you’ll be a peacemaker
The fourth fruit, it’s the tolerant LONG-SUFFERING
The good value of Patience also what it brings
In this fast-paced environment that we’re living in
Steadfastness and endurance are what we should carry with
Here’s how to cultivate Long-Suffering even more:
Patience and endurance are the primary keys
For us to last the entire race
Believe that He has a purpose in every case
The next fruit is a respectable one
The fruit of KINDNESS for everyone
The same kindness that God has shown us
So it’s time for you to share--- that's the task
Here’s how to cultivate Kindness even more:
A kind word, a kind action to one another
Be hospitable to every one who needs help
Be kind, be gracious to each & one you met
The sixth fruit is the fruit of GOODNESS
It’s like a magnet that attracts everyone
The goodness of God, He shares with you
To shine, to show; for people to be touched
Here’s how to cultivate Goodness even more:
Do good and put your love in action
Be a living testimony of what God has done
For you, for me and for one another
The seventh fruit, I truly delight
The fruit of FAITHFULNESS in the Light
If grown well your eyes will see
A more true and personal relationship with Him
Here’s how to cultivate Faithfulness even more:
Hold fast and always believe in His Word
Stay loyal and put high esteem to Him
Dedicated and dependability on Him
Now GENTLENESS should be handled with care
Just as I did while I talk with people of different race
Gentle words could open up hearts
When dealing both believers or not
Here’s how to cultivate Gentleness even more:
Always share a gentle and loving touch
With mildness and tenderness in every tap
Big points for you if you combined it with corrective love
SELF-CONTROL, now that’s a big fruit to grow
You need to watch for it for pests to go
It’s like a big game of tug of war
Between our Spirit and earthly desires
Here’s how to cultivate Self-Control even more:
Always pray for guidance from above
Never let down your guard, mediate His Word
Sure enough, God will help you overcome the world
These nine fruits in the basket are powerful enough
To help you to change and transform your previous life
Also, it could help to touch other lives
To free them too from this world of strife
Now your job is simple enough
To deepen these seeds within your heart
Let it grow through walking God’s ways
Let Us operate in you everyday
All We want is for you to be willing
Just like when you started believing
As I have told you awhile my beloved friend
I will always be with you all the way.”

AM I READY TO TURN A NEW PAGE?
Am I ready to turn a new page?
Another chapter in my life?
Will this journey be different
From the past that I just came out?
Is my hand ready to choose
As my pen just simply follows
The thoughts, the decisions
Where my ink will eventually flow
Will my eyes be prepared to see
All unexpected events that may proceed
Must my ears always perceive
All the criticism and disbelief
Am I ready to turn a new page?
With the stars to light my night
Or will the clouds dim it away
As I take a new flight
Are my comrades be forever true?
And there in case I would fall
Will they be there to guide me
When I get blind through those slopes
Am I ready to turn a new page?
A new phase, toward new ways
Psyched up from the innermost
Of my spirit, thoughts and soul
Have I learned from the past pages?
Are the lessons well remembered?
Will my tears stop to drop?
Or the breeze will swipe it off?
Will the next pages be full of questions?
Will I learn the answer?
Am I ready to conquer? As my new page turns over
The Woman That I Love
CURSED WINGS
Cursed Wings
Able to fly
Able to soar
But why can’t thy wings
Defeat a simple abhor
Trying to laugh
Trying to glide
Of all the places
That you tried to find
Isn’t thy wings epitomize thy freedom
Isn’t your responsibility too hard to carry out?
The gift of sovereignty is in your hands
Why are you destined to be in such blight?
Know the Powerful, know the Great
But why from Thee away you break?
Know thy home, know thy abode
How hard the travel you ought to go
Isn’t it just a simple task?
To obey the things that thy Lord asks?
Aren’t thy wings for His complement?
And not to be used against thy judgment?
Thy indulgence of your wings
Led to one frightful ting
How you fell to the lure
Your death is not away for sure
There’s no escape
There’s no refuge
A place of safety
Will be far from you
In bondage you are trapped
In sorrow your soul wraps
But who’s out there
To help a soul that needed care?
Doesn’t thy Lord love enough?
To free you from the tangles of doubt
The curse on wings that you yourself caused
The glittery chain that lure your soul
His mighty hands offer life
His loving nature is strong enough
Releasing you from strife
And untangle you from the Lightning’s plot
What will you do to regain your freedom?
What will you do to break away from the cursed wings?
Let His blood flow in every feather
Believe and it will calm any rage of weather
For in Him you truly find peace
And He, for sure will be very much pleased
All you have to do is believe
And the cursed wings will soon be freed
NIGHT'S DAY
Hope that everything will be incredible
For we may not know what is ahead
Believe it like a soul will come back to once was dead
Rest your soul
Don’t think like an owl
Close your eyes
Feel every slight
Feel the coolness of the night
Let every weary take a flight
For ‘tis the time
To start the rhyme
A night won’t be a night without day
As day won’t be a day without night
A dream won’t be a dream without hope
‘Tis the rhyme of a night’s day ode
