Pula, Asul at Dilaw
Pula, Asul, Dilaw at Puti!

Masarap!

May Lamentations
Let me lament for the last time
Over the days that I thought would be forever mine
Though I have foreseen the gloom years ago
I was too weak to totally let go
It’s now a different scene
When this month was once green
Over the field of colorful caprice
Now it’s just a memory of lost peace
Over these days of weary and pain
I have lamented and reminisced
The days that love once held
A heart captivated of false chance
A chance to be loved truly
A chance to understand it fully
But I guess the love that I thought was true
Just suddenly left me out in the blue
Let me lament for the last time
And finally let go of the pain inside
This month of May that use to be fine
Now in my thoughts, I would like to decline
Let the old dreams die before my face
I am hoping that in time it will be replaced
Let the hope be just a thing of the past
Praying in my memory it will never last
Let the rain wash away this pain
Let the sun dry it away
Let the clouds be not gloomy
And the stars to shine out brightly
And may this last lamentation
Bring a period over this emotion
Of past heart aches and devotion
Over this little May Lamentation
Over the days that I thought would be forever mine
Though I have foreseen the gloom years ago
I was too weak to totally let go
It’s now a different scene

Sleep
Sleep young maiden, for you’ve fought too long
There in your dreams, the fantasy within
Beneath the moon, under the stars
A trance of tranquil charm, away from harm
Let your breath rest in its usual rhythm
Let your playful day end in a peaceful way
But dreams can be an unpredictable place
A world to discover that’s hard to trace
But who says no adventure can be seen
In a night of sleep and blurry dreams
It does reveal your little whims
Or maybe something weirdly foreseen
What it can reveal you
You can never believe
It’s as if you are awake
You see the path you take
Sometimes you feel you are about to break
Sometimes you thought you flew above a lake
At times you journey, afar or near
It’s dreamland anyway, nothing to fear
Sleep young maiden, you will never know
The power of sleep, the reality of dreams
Don’t worry too much about the things you see
Remember that God watches you even in dreams
There in your dreams, the fantasy within
Beneath the moon, under the stars
A trance of tranquil charm, away from harm
Let your breath rest in its usual rhythm
Let your playful day end in a peaceful way
But dreams can be an unpredictable place
A world to discover that’s hard to trace

My Battleground
I hear the drums banging
And it’s stinging my heart
My knees are shaking,
While my nerves seem to shatter apart
Sacred Agent Art is appointed here
The battleground I am assigned to fight
How in this arena will I survive
If I haven’t placed God in my life?
With my hand in my heart
I give my sober oath
To carry out my mission
As commanded in the Holy Word
I pray that the Boss Almighty
Grant me the strength I need
Sanctify my thoughts, purify my heart
I can only do best with His might
I know it would be inevitable
The foe’s blow would bruise me in a way
But I deem that the Holy Chief
Will heal the wound I get from them
I claim the same valor of a knight
When the King called them out to fight
Equipped and fully geared up
Victory is declared even before itstarts
I hear the drums banging
Though I don’t see the battalion coming
I can sense that more is to come
The battle has just begun
Sacred Agent Art is appointed here
And I will never leave my stand
Until I finish my duty,
Until the battle is won
And I pray that my soul will always be
Prepared for every battle cry
Until one day the Captain will say,
“Mission accomplished, Sacred AgentArt”
